Beech Yard Sale - The Beech Mountain Yard Sale. Booth spaces can be rented from the Beech Mountain Chamber of Commerce.
The Yard Sale will be across from the Chamber of Commerce (next to the Brick Oven Pizzeria).
Yard sale hours: 8AM - 1PM. Sellers be ready by 7:30AM.

Riverwalk Fest - The 2007 Avery Arts Council Riverwalk Arts Festival will be on
August 17-18, 2007 at the Riverwalk Park in Newland, NC. For more information see the Riverwalk website.
Photo Contest - All professional and serious amateur photographers are invited to attend the 2007 Grandfather Mountain Camera Clinic. Admission to the Camera Clinic is free. Because of limited seats in the auditorium (165), we ask that people who plan to attend pre-register. See official site for more information.
Street Dance - Our D.J., Mac Mast is a master at reading the crowd and playing music that will get your heart pumping and your feet moving. Music starts at 7 PM weather permitting.
