Heritage Fest - "Who ya kin to?", The 2007 Avery County Heritage Festival will be on June 1-2, Friday evening and Saturday from 10AM in Crossnore, NC. Festival honors Avery County highlighting its history, authors, artists, crafters, cooks, and musicians. Friday evening kicks off with a Blue Grass Music Jam. Saturday features 40 genealogy groups, book signings by over 32 local authors, all-day music, and lectures on the various aspects of our local heritage. Walking tour of the town of Crossnore.
